The European Championships (EDGC2023), will be held in Estonia at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds from the 16th of August until the 19th of August 2023.
Tallinn is the capital and largest city of Estonia. It is located on the northern coast of the country, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, 80 km (50 mi) south of Helsinki, east of Stockholm and west of St. Petersburg.
The Tallinn Song Festival Grounds is the perfect venue for a large scale disc golf event. Located in the middle of Tallinn and easily accessible from the harbour and airport. It’s the ideal location for the competitors and the thousands of spectators who will come and see how the best players from all around Europe compete for the prestigious title of the European Champion.
A championship level, 18-hole pop-up course will be built just for the EDGC2023 event and designed by Seppo Paju. The course will challenge all competitors and provide the best possible spectator experience.
The Song Festival Grounds has been used for an international disc golf tournament once before, during the Estonian Open in 2017. During the tournament’s final day, around 1000 spectators were enjoying the show. This was in 2017 when the sport only started stretching its wings.
