For the first time in the history of the European Disc Golf Championships, two separate events were held in 2023. EDGC together with EJDGC in Tallinn, Estonia and EMDGC in Szarvas, Hungary. Both events were excellent and highlights of the year. Again, many thanks to the LOCs for organizing the European Championships.

Now, we are looking forward to the next ECs which will in 2025. The bidding process has started middle of October with the deadline of 20 December 2023 to submit bids.

Due to the fact, that the World Games, where Disc Golf will be included again as a medals sport, will be held 7-17 August 2025 and the dates of other important international events (specifically PDGA World – in Europe or not) are known by beginning of December 2023, our bidding process will close earliest in middle of January. The date(s) of our Championships will be discussed and fixed with the bidders accordingly.

In any case, we are looking forward in receiving many interesting bids. As previousely done, a special EDGF committee will review and judge the bids. Final decision is however then with the EDF BoD.
