The 2025 European Disc Golf Championship and the 2025 European Junior Disc Golf Championship will be staged in Langevåg, Ålesund, Norway from the 9th to the 12th of July 2025.

The European Disc Golf Federation (EDGF) is pleased to announce that following a thorough evaluation the bid of the event organzation team, lead by Øyvind Jarnes was chosen to host the 2025 European Disc Golf Championships in the Open Divisions and the 2025 European Junior Disc Golf Championships.

Both events will be held on the Vasset Disc Golf Park (VDGP). VDGP has been used at all events hosted by Langevåg IL LOC since 2006. The VDGP course will be utilized during the Sula Open 2024, and any adjustments will be made based on experiences and feedback from that event to ensure a challenging and rewarding experience for all participants. Separate layout based on the same holes, with potential different tee and/or basket placements will be available for the female divisions.

Langevåg IL is a multifaceted sports organization, engaging in various sports activities, with a particular focus on soccer, handball, and disc golf as its primary components. The disc golf group has been an integral part of Langevåg IL since its inception in 2005, contributing significantly to the growth and success of disc golf within the community. Langevåg IL operates as a sports club under the auspices of The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NIF). With a robust history spanning over a century, Langevåg IL currently boasts 4 full-time employees and a membership base of approximately 1000 individuals.

The hosting city, Ålesund, is easily accessible for international players. The Ålesund area welcomes approximately 500,000 tourists annually and is well-equipped to accommodate an event like the EDGC.
