Thank you for your interest in hosting an EDGF event, one of the most prestigious events in the sport of disc golf and in Europe. This comprehensive bid package has been carefully developed to guide you in creating a strong and compelling proposal. As you develop your submission, the Event Bid Manual — along with the specific bid package(s) for the event(s) you are applying to host — should serve as your go-to resource. Together, they outline the expectations, requirements, standards, and responsibilities involved in organizing a successful EDGF event. A checklist is also included in the bid package to help you prepare your submission.
Please note: The 2027 EDGC/EJDGC and EMDGC hosts have been communicated (Tampere & Le Mans). The bidding for the 2029 EDGC/EJDGC gone into a 2nd round with those who have sumitted a bid for 2027 and 2029.

Your bid is more than just a proposal — it is a detailed blueprint of your operational plans. It should provide all the necessary information to allow EDGF to make an informative and fair decision when selecting the most qualified hosts. ”The more detail the better”. If your bid is approved, it will also serve as a foundational planning tool throughout the lead-up to the event.
