The lead by the NDGGB is of high importance, as the event is given to the country in first line and required staff should be recruted if necessary by the NDGGB.

Submitting bids does not cost anything. When the hosts are decided, an event contract will be issued where also the fees will be fixed. These are:
We have created a special online form to submit bids. The form is splitted into sections to guide you through the registration. You can bid for the 2027 events (required) and also for 2029 (optional). You can also upload requested documents and immage at the end of the form. Please also read section 7 of the Event Bid Manual, “Documentation Guidelines”, to submit the correct file-type.

If necessary EDGF might need to extent the deadline with the consequence that the official annoucement of the hosts becomes also moved.
After the given deadline, all bids will be reviewed and judged by a special EDGF Bid Selection Committee. The EDGF Board of Director will meet, review and discuss the committee’s selection, make the final decision and inform all bidders accordingly.
It is planned to officially announce the 2027 hosts (or even some of 2029) by beginning of 2026 (January). If the planned submitting deadline must be extended, the official announcement of the hosts will become moved as well. EDGF will communicated accordingly.
